Very nice budget hotel in Florence. The room was very clean and was cleaned everyday. Domenico, (the hotel owner?), was very polite and helpful at all times. The hotel is a decent walk from downtown (we did this everyday and found the walk pleasant). Three main bus lines connect it to the downtown. The bus stop is just around the corner. There are restaurants, supermarkets and other stores either next to the hotel or a short walk from it. Fair warning, the hotel is on the second floor and there is no elevator. We did not consider this to be a major issue. The hotel staff was willing to help with the luggage (we didn't need it). For the price paid, we thought this was excellent value for the money.

Support from the staff was excellent. Room is really comfortable.
I went with my wife and a 1.5 year old daughter. The bed was really big for three of us to sleep. Location is the best advantage. Bus stops right opposite to the hotel door. So not much to walk I am tired from the whole day.

Everything! The rooms were very nice and everything seemed very clean. Everyone on the staff was extremely nice, except only one could speak English well. They allowed us to check out at 3:30 pm instead of 11 am and were very accommodating. There was internet in our room as well as in the lobby.
It was about a 20 minute walk to the city center, but there are buses right around the corner.

Could this be the unicorn we're all looking for?
The manager was helpful, providing great local dining recommendations and accommodating with our luggage. The terrace was a fantastic spot for morning coffee!
Stairs to reach the hotel were steep, which could pose a challenge for those with heavy luggage.
